T61p Vista "workable" driver set?

A colleague of mine has a T60p with Vista preload.
The preload itself uses about 1 gigabyte of memory, which I think is way too much.

I have ordered a T61p with Vista, and will in the end run it as a Vista-64 install. Before all the 64-bit drivers have settled down, I am going to do a 32-bit Vista install without a lot of the add-on tools.

The list of drivers at the Lenovo site is huge:

So: what is a "workable" (i.e. relatively small) set of drivers that will cover all the built-in devices?

Most of the downloads are needed for one reason or another to make the hardware work

It's probably easier to list things you don't need to install, I can think of

Access Connections
CSS
System Update
Maintenance Manager
Rescue & Recovery
Access Help

There's probably more I haven't thought of, it's really personal choice tbh.

Vista will recognise a surprising amount of devices (for at least basic functionality) without the need to install the Lenovo drivers - I can't remember the list from when I installed fresh Vista.

Your gonna want the following though:

ACPI Power Management
Lenovo System Interface Driver
Hotkey Utility
