T60/T61 and 24" 1920x1200 LCD

I'm going to buy 24" DVI 1920x1200 LCD display.
First, I'll use it with my old PC but in next year I'm going to buy ThinkPad T60 or T61.
Will ThinkPad work with that external display in 1920x1200 resolution?
Which T60 or T61 model should I choose to work with external display?

1920x1200 can even be drive with the VGA connector. So any issue.
