Hi all,
From the T60 manual book, i read that we can restoring T60 to the factory contents.
it said that we must press the ThinkVantage button when the Thinkpad Logo appear.
Then.. i've tried to do that, but every time i press the button "The Rescue and Recovery workspace" doesn't appear. I've clean installed my T60 using Windows XP SP2, may be the workspace is gone.
Please give me some suggestions
Thanks in advance

When you clean-installed Windows XP, did you wipe out the entire disk, or just install to an existing partition? If the latter, then your recovery partition should still be there and usable.
Do you have a set of recovery CDs?

you will need to order a set of recovery disks from IBM. It will cost you $51 shipped.

Thanks for the answer tomh009,
when i clean-installed, i only deleted the primary partition ( that is C: ) and created again. i've checked the computer management and i found that the "recovery partition" still healthy. But i can't recover it.

The partition is still there. You need to install Rescue and Recovery ( the app) in order to have the proper MBR for the blue button to work.
The you can do a factory recovery.

Read "hypertrophy" post (near bottom) in the following about using the "Rescue and Recovery Repair Diskette" to correct the MBR problem:

P.S. You can find more info on the Rescue and Recovery Repair Diskette" by doing a search on those words.

You need
Rescue and Recovery - Recovery repair diskette. Keep in mind the factory restore is going to wipe out your entire HDD.
