yay new t61 arrived! recharge how long?

Hi I just received my t61 =] (yah so i got out of class and drove 20 mins to get it at home then drove back =D) and I was wondering how long do i need to charge it initially? or do i need to charge it at all and used it plugged in? or does it not matter? (yes it is VERY tempting there just lying there waiting for me to use it >.<)

Also I guess I was wondering how long it would take to recharge from like empty to pretty full? what are the usual times everyone else has been having?

how long depends on the battery's charge state plus the usage plus the capacity. If you have a 4 cell it will charge faster than a 7 cell obviously.

As for using it tho, go ahead... just plug it in and start using it No need to wait to fully charge it or anything. I don't know which retarded person wrote that in some manuals making people think they have to do it all the time, [censored]! We waited so long to get it and now that it's there infront of us you want us to way 4-10hrs before we use it for the first time? Screw that!

haha thanks =D o yah i totally forgot to add int eh part of it being 15.4 and a 9 cell =p thansk alot tho! now onto using it >=D yay!

o wait one more quesiton if anyone reads =p umm... is the media card readers supposed to be on the bottom right side of the t61? because i dun see it on my t61?

If you configured it with a 4-in-1 media card reader then it should be on the front end underneath the palmrest and near the touchpad.
