Hi all,
I am looking for a T61p, with 14" screen & 256MB of graphics memory. I've hunted in the TABook.pdf
http://www5.pc.ibm.com/us/me.nsf/webdoc ... tabook.pdf
but can't find such a beast. Does it exist?
Thanks!

the 14.1" SXGA+ T61p has 128MB dedicated + 128MB shared for 256MB total. only the 15.4" T61p has 256MB dedicated + 256MB shared (512 total) for now. this might change in the future if the 14.1" 4.3 models retain their popularity.
correct me if i'm wrong but the 14.1" T61p's 570M should be enough to drive the internal SXGA+ display plus a 30" WQXGA (2560x1900) display simultaneously due to the shared memory.

Thanks. I need the 256MB dedicated as the game software I write about has this as a minimum requirement. I don't actually game on my laptop, but want to have access to the SW for UI references etc.

If you don't need NVIDIA/DirectX10 video card, the 14.1" T60p is still available and has the ATI FireGL V5250 with 256mb GDDR3.

I was looking at the T60p, but had hopes that the new 14" T61p's would fit the bill. Guess I'm back to the T60p...
