Lenovo ETA for 14.1 WSXGA+ or WXGA+ - Anybody?

Hi,
I just cancelled my order for a T61 14.1 WXGA because Lenovo's "help me decide" said that it has 1440x900 when in fact it only has 1280x800. They told me about 4 to 5 weeks until the better WSXGA+ and the WXGA+ are back in.
Does anyone here have any insider info on when they really will be back?
Also, I was considering maybe an X61 instead, but again, I want higher resolution. I saw that there used to be an SXGA, and now there is only XGA. Anyone know about this?

display panels are starting to trickle back into stock. if lenovo quoted you 4~6 weeks then it's only because they are playing it safe.
the only SXGA+ panels available in the X-series came on select X60/X61 tablet models. they were never available in the non-tablet models. to order one you'll have to call lenovo directly as they have been pulled from the website due to low supply. they'll go back online once supply picks back up.

Lenovo Canada has very good deal, see this link

You might have to wait over 4 weeks, coz many orders are still back ordered, this deal is very hot.
BTW, you need a VISA card to buy it.

Might be a typo - WSXGA+ in 14" seems doubtful. I cannot find any other references on the net.
At the prices listed in US$ or Canadian $'s?

Well, they have the WSXGA+ available now, but not with the Camera.
I have been searching forever for a 14.1 with
WSXGA+
Camera
WWAN
Fingerprint
2.4GHZ Core 2 Duo
100gb or higher 7200RPM
2GB or higher RAM
Bluetooth
Intel Wifi Link
The combination of the WSXGA+ with Camera is nowhere to be found.
Any ideas?

Oh yeah... what model number? I see the SXGA+ option on 4:3 14.1" but still no WSXGA+ on 14"...

All of the widescreen models have the WSXGA+ available now, but without the camera.
The SXGA is the non-widescreen models.

i don't think
any display manufacturer offers WSXGA+ (1680x1050) in a 14.1" panel. have you seen one (ie; LG, samsung, etc.)?

I never mentioned 1680x1050. I just want the WSXGA+ with the Camera like I have on my z61t.
They currently only offer the camera with WSXGA not the WSXGA+

WSXGA+ == 1680x1050
WSXGA does not exist. If it did, it would be ~1638x1024.
14.1" widescreen is and was never produced with a WSXGA+ resolution, only up to 1440x900 (i.e. WXGA+)

by saying "WSXGA+" you're saying "1680x1050" (whether you mean to or not), just like troels said above. you need to get your terminology correct when referring to screen sizes and resolutions, otherwise you confuse the heck out of people who are familiar with these terms.
here's a
handy link to WSXGA+ info on wikipedia.

There's a shortage of WXGA+ w/ Cam (only comes with
14.1''W models). It was offered online many times before. I doubt you will get hold of one at this moment but kindly call 1-866-96-THINK to check availability.
