Hi,

I hope this is the right place to state my issue. Here goes:

I just got my T61p, and i changed the HD to 250GB and reinstalled Vista Ultimate again. Now i enrolled in the Client Security application and saved my fingerprints, but it keeps hanging for a couple of days now and even when i restart my thinkpad (It asks for my windows password and then hangs trying to enroll with Client Security Solution).. Did i do something wrong? Or am i missing an application or something? Please help!

I believe you need to reset the TPM module, in Vista you'll need to follow the directions, here to Clear the TPM, scroll down to find them.

Any chance you are running Nod32? There is a known conflict between CSS and Nod32. However, there is a work-around available.

That's strange -- Not to burst your bubble, but I have NOD32 with CSS and it's working fine...

Wow... Worked me fine.
On the other hand KIS 6 didn't allow to CSS to come back to Windows from screensaver...

No bubble bursted here... I have read this in more than one place. I'm sure if you google you could find something. I suppose it is possible that nod32 came out with an update that corrected the issue or its just been a few isolated incidents. It was a couple months ago when I first heard about it.

EDIT: This is all I've got regarding nod32 and CSS:
