Is Bluetooth part 39T0497 customer replaceable?

Hi, just wondering if this part can be added without voiding the warranty of a T61.

Requires you to open the LCD bezel.

It's not HARD. But technically it is NOT a customer serviceable part. So do it at your own risk.

Opening the LCD bezel does not scare me (much). Today I was look at my screen and the bottom of the bezel in the middle is really pulled away from the screen. There is probably 1/8 inch gap in the middle and you can see the LEDs from the top of the screen. If a replacement bezel would fix it, I would rather just put it in myself than send the laptop to the depot.

And if I have the bezel off, seems like a good time to drop in the bluetooth part 8)

I researched and started a thread about this earlier and from the responses I received I think it's not a difficult upgrade to do. Then again, I haven't bought the part yet. (need money) :)

I've disassembled and reassembled 760s before, and read the T61 HMM so I plan on getting it. If you do it first, let us know of any unexpected problems.
