Hi @all

I have 2 Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay Adapters with HDD´s
Normaly i have one in my Advanced Dock and one in my Slotin.
When i´m on a official travel sometime i have to change the HDD´s in the Slot but Windows don´t want this *g*

Now i´m searching for a USB Adapter Cable for Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay Adapter to connect the Bay Adapter to a USB Port.

Have anyone a Idea where to by it? Lenovo don´t have it.

greets

afaik there is no such cable, I've searched previously and never found anything.
As I see it you have two options; an external USB drive caddy, (you should be able to get one for around €15/€20), or, you could find out why windows isn't allowing you to HotSwap, (a shortcut from the drive on the desktop is enough for windows to prevent this).

Coolskin,
I don't know of an adapter cable like you are talking about but there is one to connect a SATA drive to the host connector. I have tested this on the connector for the main drive on my T60p and it works fine. There is debate over whether or not you could connect a 3.5" drive. See my post at:

You could use something this:

USB to sata cable, so you connect the usb cable directly to your hard drive rather than the sata bay caddy. The only thing is that your drive is exposed.
