Blue error screen

#1 Post by kingmonkey11 » Fri Aug 31, 2007 5:27 pm

On several occasions not long after boot up on vista I get the blue error message screen which states
DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

which then requires a reboot and then is usually working fine.
Anyone have any idea what might be causing this and how to fix this problem?

Sir, please refer to this document from Microsoft (even though it's meant for Windows XP but it will still give you some idea).
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
