In my previous ThinkPads (T20, T40, T42) when I pressed the volume buttons up or down, in addition to the green on screen indicator I got an audible "beep" that reflected the loudness.
On my T61p I see the on screen volume green bar going up to 50, but no beeps. Cannot find where (or if) to enable this. Anyone knows if it can be done and where is this setting?
Using Vista Ultimate
Thanks
On Screen volume indicator beeps gone on T61p?
I'm not sure about Vista, but using Windows XP you can rightclick the desktop, properties, settings, advanced, On Screen Display and check the "Speaker volume control beep". This settings i believe is default off, but if this is completely different using Vista i'm not sure where to find that setting.
