Hi - does anyone know of a neat way (perhaps using a WMI class) to check the Chipset version on a T6X machine? Thanks.

On my T42, I can look in Device Manager under System Devices for Intel(R) 82855PM Processor to AGP Controller or Intel(R) 82855PM Processor to I/O Controller. If I check the driver version, it gives the Chipset driver version as 4.20.1007.0. Of course 855PM is the Intel Chipset in my T42.

Thanks GomJabbar. With a bit of digging I've actually found a reg. key that I can query. The "Version" registry key located at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intel\InfInst

You will only find the driver version at this location. Last one is 8.2.0.1014.
Chipset :
T60 : 945PM or 945GM
T61 : PM965 or GM965
