Just discovered a very good deal of T42P(15'' UXGA IPS!) on lenovo US website, so wonder if intel PM745(1.8GHz, FSB400MHz) is powerful enough to play high-definition video(from Sony HDR-UX1 camcorder), coz Sony ask for CPU over 2.8GHz as a must.

Anyone got any idea?

Thanks in advance.

BTW: PM me if you interested in this T42P, I can show you the link, very tempting. The model is ThinkPad T42p 2373-HTU

See this chart.

I think most people on this forum already know where this T42p can be found. I saw it earlier today too. Pretty good deal.

haha, I thought I was the only one knows the secret.
Thanks :P

Edit: seems PM745 just equals to P4 2.66G. I give up.

Lenovo currently has a 20% off coupon code for the T series, so the new models are also very cheap, e.g. the 14.1" SXGA+ T61p is as low as $1,029.
