Windows Activiation on T60 WTF!!

Ok I am so frustrated. I think it might be a virus but who knows.

I reformatted and I'm trying to get into windows and it asks me to activate. I tried via internet and it didn't work so I called and got the code. But, now whenever I start windows it tells me that I need to reactivate and when I click ok it says that windows is already activated and press ok. Once I press ok it brings me back to the welcome screen. The same process repeats and I can't get into windows.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

If you used the recovery CD's activation is not required.

If you did not then there could be a problem with Windows.

If you can use the recovery CD's I suggest doing so.

Since you formatted and assuming clean installed the Windows and did not use the Product Recovery Disks so Microsoft is the one you should sort out things with.
