Wonder who made the LCD for my T61P, FRU 0000000 is weird

I prefer to have NMD keyboard just like my T60:-(

It is a Samsung LCD.

don't knock the alps until you try it. it's not that bad.
your HDD is a hitachi 7K100. that's good news.
your panel is samsung like harry said. that's also good news.
the other part number (42Y6654) is meaningless since your thinkpad does not ship with recovery DVDs. it's just there to let tech know what OS your machine was configured with in case you need to order or receive recovery discs.

Is it possible only two brands 14.1'' SXGA+ LCD panel there? the LG+phillips and Samsung? Some guys said the Samsung one is not good as LG one.

the only panels available for the 14.1" SXGA+ T61p are samsung (42T0369) and TMD (42T0373). the samsung is regarded as being the better panel.

guys, based on 42T0368, how did you conclude the panel is 42T0369?
Because Mfg_part_number + 1==FRU_part_number?
