Down arrow works sporadically

Hello, just a question, on my keyboard, the down arrow works sporadically, requiring a complete push down before it registers, unlike the rest of they keyboard where you can just touch-type.

Do you think lenovo would accept an RMA if only one (seldom used) key has a completely different response feel than the rest of the keyboard, if it hinders my usage of the laptop in certain conditions?

Tell lenovo support that the key doesn't respond at all and they'll send you a new keyboard. It's unlikely they'll even ask for the old board to be returned.
