I have a 2nd hand T60, with sierra wireless mc8755, which i believe to be the bluetooth adapter. I installed the driver, installation is ok,, after installation there is red cross marked on the wireless icon with it means it is not working.
The above was done from a cleaned install OEM xp pro(service pkg 2, not IBM original CD), i could not find the Bluetooth Icon on the control panel. I try to
1. find to see any addition blue s/w from service pkg ii, no success
2. download bluetooth s/w from windows site, no success.
how do I proceed from there? help
thanks

First Time Bluetooth setup/installation
Hi everyone
Re: First Time Bluetooth setup/installation
The mc8755 is WWAN cellular data modem for internet service. It has nothing to do with bluetooth. It is for use with at&t (Cingular) or Verizon service - which you pay monthly for.ttan98 wrote:I have a 2nd hand T60, with sierra wireless mc8755, which i believe to be the bluetooth adapter.
