So here is the deal. I got a t60 (2.0ghz, 1.5ram, 14.1, 512mb ati card and all that) from a guy but he was chinese. So many programs are in chinese. Access Connections being one. More importantly when I start the machine it goes through the thing about the embedded chip and then pops up with a message in chinese. And if I turn the chip on there is logon screens in chinese. How can I find out what this says and/or how can I change the language altogether. What would I need to reinstall? I tried uninstalling and reinstall access connections but it was still in chinese. That seems to be the only one I can not just uninstall and reinstall.
Any help would be great

A lot of the Lenovo tools use the language set under "Regional and Language Options" in the control panel. Make sure you have all of the options set to englsh (Should be 3 or 4 places where you can change the language under the Regional and Language Options). When this is set correctly access connections should be english as well.
You can also override the languge of access connections in the registry under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lenovo\Access Connections\Install" where you create a DWORD named "OverrideDefaultLangID". The hex value of this one should be 409 for english. If you use a pretty old version of access connections this override might not work though.

Which OS are you using?
Starting with Vista, only the Ultimate version supports interfaces in other languages.
