T61p S-Video? Firewire?

I was wondering whether the new t61p has an s-video out or a firewire?
I love connecting my T42 to the TV to watch videos.

sorry to inform u that it does not have either one, I do believe you could purchase express card with those options though

I might have to for the s-video.
I wonder why they left it out. It's great on my T42.

T61/p does come with firewire. You can find both on R61.

The T61p I just recieved does indeed have firewire, right in front where the IR port used to be.

guess I was wrong, when I ordered my t61p it was not an option, but I didn't order one from tabbook either were it could have mentioned it was available, do you think my current t61p can be upgraded with firewire

there are two T61p models; a 14.1" standard and a 15.4" widescreen. only the 15.4" models have firewire and it's built onto the motherboard. 14.1" models are not listed in the
tabookbecause they are currently CTO-only.

then that is why i don't have the firewire, so i will be happy for now, but i wish i could have the ir port
