Is it folly to purchase the "200 GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm with Disk Encryption" for a new t61--if I only want the extra large hard drive? Sales at Lenovo says you can turn encryption off--but I'm not so sure that is true based on the posts here. I will be backing up the hard drive with CMS bounceback software --and have no need for encryption--only ease of operation.
Thanks. I'd like to get in soon and use that nice USPANNIVERSARY coupon!!!
