Net connection issues

Hello one and all:

I've noticed with my T-60, that when coming out of the sleep mode, I loose my Internet connection. Even though my THINKVANTAGE ACCESS CONNECTIONS shows that I'm still connected, I have to disconnect, and re-connect in order to get back on line.

Thanks in advance for any ideas in fixing this problem.
