Upgrade T60 to T61

Is that possible I can upgrade T60 WideScreen to T61?
I already bought a T61 motherboard. I hope this will work.

Yeah, that's something I also want to know.

I'm thinking of putting the T61p-14"4:3-mainboard in my T60p if AMD/ATI doesn't get a good linux-driver out soon.

How much did you have to pay for that mainboard?

Is it also possible for a T60 non-widescreen? I would like a T61 if it wasn't for the widescreen factor, so if an upgrade is possible by just putting a new board in, I'd be interested as well.

That is also what I would like to know for my T60p with the FlexView screen, or in my case can I swap the screen onto a t61, something??

Not possible. Dimitri_P has confirmed that the motherboard port layouts are different and the T61 board will not physically FIT into a T60/p chassis.

Is this true for all models?

Judging from the pictures I'd say the port layout for at least the 14" 4:3 models hasn't changed and there's a thread in a japanese or chinese forum where a T61 mainboard has been put in a T60 chassis.
