need adivce on memory upgrade options for T61p
i have now 1G of Ram , and i was thinking to get 2G more.
first of all , is this what you guys recommend ?
Second ,which (and where) memory to get . i checked kingston ...$123 at new egg.
and Crucial for $115.

If no budget constraint then get 2 sticks of 2GB memory (assuming you're planning to move to Windows Vista's 64 bit version in the future).
Otherwise 1 additional stick of 2GB module will do at this moment.

$115 each is a great price. i've used micron (crucial) memory for decades with an unblemished track record and wouldn't recommend any other brand.
if you're going to use 32-bit windows then just get one module for now and add another later if you go to vista x64.
