T60 Hibernation recovery

My T60 is extremly slow when coming out of hibernation. For example, it can take over 1 1/2 minutes for outlook 2003 to open. It can also take a lot longer that normal to get connected to the internet. If I've been out of hibernation for awhile, I don't have any slow down.

I spoke with Lenovo yesterday and they believe it to be to many start up programs running. My questions is: Doesn't hibernation bring the computer back to life just as it was when it went into hibernation? I went through the start up programs yesterday to see what could be removed and not create a problem for me. I google'd each one to see if I could delete if from start up. I have about 40 start ups running, but most of them are for Lenovo, my printer, and the system. Any suggestions?

Lenovo also said it could be a software problem but they don't have free support anymore for software issues. The money is not the problem, my laptop was just purchased this last March. I would think it would still be under some type of warranty for software. I could be wrong though!

Two suggestions to identify the true reason that caused the problem:

1. Disable all your network devices in your T60, wired and wireless, before you press Fn+F12. Then power it on and see if your T60 works fine when coming out of hibernation. This cound be some network devices trying to reconnect unreachable network.

2. Check the printers in your T60, and see if there are any unfinished printing tasks in the printer spool. If there are, delete them.

This is truly software problem, don't worry too much.
