Rebuilding System and Desire Disk Install of Drivers

#1 Post by dfumento » Thu Oct 18, 2007 12:36 pm

I have to rebuild my Vista system. I used to use Software Installer which would search the previously downloaded packages on the disk and it would tell me which ones were out of date. I know where the drivers are located, but the folders have such cryptic names.

Software Installer no longer works. It gives a message to use System Update.

Is there any way to re-update the driver files that I want to without having to re-download them using System Update or trying to figure out the cryptic folder names in c:/drivers c:swtools and so on? TIA
