14.1" WXGA+ LCD - Is it Samsung or LG

Part Number: 42V9324 SBB 14.1WXGA+ TFT, W/O CAM
I just got my T61 yesterday and I'm curious who made the LCD. The viewing angles are really bad on this thing. It's really bright though.

that's the generic part number from your build sheet. you need the FRU (field replacement unit) number. it can be looked up by plugging your machine type and serial number into the
parts lookup page.

i can't find any manufacturer details on 42T0412.
pc wizard 2008 will give you the display's manufacturer part number.
