Can i uninstall 500mb High Definition Audio Driver Package?

#1 Post by j0rd » Mon Oct 22, 2007 4:50 am

Just got my new t61p a couple days ago. I love it. Spent the last 3 days configuring the system. I'm about to make an image of my masterpiece and would like it to be as small as possible. I removed, office 2007, norton (both trials) ...but i noticed this large package.

There's a 500mb High Definition Audio Driver Package. 500 seems like a load of space for some drivers. High Def or not. So ... Can this package be removed safely? Will i have to re-install audio drivers afterwards?

Any help would be appreciated :D

It's not really 500MB. It's one of those cases where Windows gives a totally fictitious size. So, don't remove it.
Current: T60p (2007-93G). Previous: T23 (2647-9LG).
