Network Card Dead - T60

#1 Post by Miller88 » Wed Oct 24, 2007 12:53 am

When I powerup the laptop I get the following while trying to boot ...

The LAN Adapter's Configuration has been corupted or not initialized

then it will go to

Error:
Expansion ROM not Initialized - PCI on Motherboard
Bus: 00, Device: 00, Function: 00

Um ... help?

I really need the wired.

I can't get into BIOS. When I hit the Blue Button, I get the error still and then it continues to boot into Windows

Just thought I would update ... I tried rebooting a few more times and then it got to the point that it wouldn't POST or anything.

I brought it to the repair center on campus (thinkpad university) and they 'tested' it for a few hours and came to the conclusion that the motherboard called it quits.

So until they get it put back together with a new motherboard, I'm using a compaq presario 700 laptop ... which is fun in my visual basic database class.
