T61P Optical Drive Question

This is a relatively easy question but I just want to confirm: For Windows XP Professional Users

Does your UltraBay Optical Drive show up under the "Safely Remove Hardware Wizard" that normally pops up when inserting a Flash Drive, etc.

Just wanted to confirm that its just not me since I am using a slipstreamed and highly slimmed down Windows XP Professional installation disk.

It should, Ultrabay Slim is hot swappable.
