Errors/Bugs in Bios 1.26 and Display Driver

Unfortunatly there are still a lot of bugs in the latest bios and the latest lenovo display driver....

Bios: Still the bug remains;
- if i close the lid and opens it, it takes ages to get the screen back.
- if i close the lid with external monitor attached the screens still switch...

display driver: lenovo, please update to a new driver from nvidia. i got 1982 points with 3dmark05 and 2950 points with the latest nvidia driver !!!
i mean if you sell this thing with this graphiccard and you cannt use it with your driver....????

anyone with same issues ?

oh and:

i have a lot of audio glitches when i close and reopen the lid...

thats horrible...

what OS are you using?

have you tried installing the WHQL display drivers from windows update?

XP SP2. and yes onetime i also installed whql. but no difference.

have you xp and it does work with you ???

i have vista ultimate 64-bit on my main drive and XPP on a second drive and no problems whatsoever with either one.   i'm not sure what's going on with your XPP installation.

do you have lenovo CSS or presentation director installed?   perhaps one of these are causing a conflict.   what about third-party software like google desktop, picasa web, or anything like that?

erik, thanks for the advice. but no i deinstalled all this software coz i also thought that these are the probs....
the first disply driver for nvidia and xp were running better, but now it is getting worse...

funny thing is that they said that they solve these problems but it didnt change a thing....[censored]...
