Hello,

I have Thinkpad T60p with FireGL 5200 [2007FBG] and TP advance mini-dock with DVI out. I'm planning to buy 24" widescreen monitor with native resolution 1920x1200 (ViewSonic VX2435wm or BENQ FP241WZ).

The question is: will I be able to get 1920x1200 on my external monitor over DVI? Over VGA?

Thank you.

Which connection do you use - VGA or DVI?

Both DVI and VGA will definitely drive 1920x1200 resolution from your T60p. DVI will give you the best quality.

You can even drive two external monitors simultaneously if you want, but if you do this the built-in Thinkpad monitor will be dark.

Thank you. That's what I wanted to know.
