Hello all. I have several t61's in my office.. and love them.. have replaced all the drives with 7200 and "upgraded" from Vista to XP.. yes upgraded.. lol. they smoke along..

This is my problem.. on two of the units.. the keyboards stop working once and awhile.. 3 tiems on one machine.. and twice on another.. only these two machines.. purcahsed at different times.. but identical units.. 7664's..

Restarts are now not bringing the keyboards back right away.. any ideas..

Try reseating the keyboard by following the below instructions:

Keyboard removal movie.

Keyboard installation movie.

Please also make sure you've the latest version of BIOS installed on your machine.
