#1 Post by anders.jensen » Sun Nov 11, 2007 2:56 am

Hi All,

Just got a T61p 6460-6XG from my work.

I have enabled the Intel AMT in bios - but when trying to edit the config "CTRL-P" under boot it needs a password - cant figure out where to find this :S.

The Intel AMT icon in Vista also displays that AMT is disabled - but i allready enabled in my bios.

Dont understand this hehe, please help.

Best regards
Anders Jensen

"admin" is the password.

You would need to change your passoword before you continue on configuring the setup.

Strong passwords are between 8 and 32 characters long, have at least one upper case character, one lower case character, one number, and a special character (for example: !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *). Also, you should use a unique password for each provisioned Intel AMT system, to prevent someone from possibly obtaining a master password and compromising the security of the entire network.
