Nvidia Help - Vista 64bit

#1 Post by rscosworth » Sun Nov 11, 2007 2:04 pm

Guys,

Just ran the Windows Experiance Index test with what i consider strange results.

I have a T61 7665-B68, T7100, 2GB, Nvidia 128, Ultimate 64 (own build)

Processor 4.8
Memory 4.8
Graphics 4.0
Gaming Graphice 4.7
Primary HDD 4.7

I find the 4.0 for Graphics strange considering i have 4.7 for gaming graphics.

On my old T60 with ATI X1300 i used to score higher on graphics than gaming graphics.

Can anyone explain whats going on here?

Thanks

try the WHQL-certified nvidia driver from windows update and see if it improved your score.   this what i use under vista ultimate x64 and my ratings are 5.9 and 5.5 respectively for graphics and gaming.   my T61p has the 256mb quadro FX 570M.

i don't understand the details of how microsoft calculates these ratings to know why there is such a discrepancy in your numbers.

I had the same numbers in x64 with the certified driver.
