Hello everybody, me and my friend have bought T61p, we both also put the 200G, Sata2, 7200 rpm Seagate Disk, system is Vista Ultimate 32, and we both noticed that the LCD display is awful, too dark, video and picture quality is awful (very foggy), as well. and I also tried to watch a Hd-DVD movie (Transformers) and it is awful, too! Is there a hint in Nvidia driver (there is no driver for Quadro 570M on Nvidia homepage, only on Lenovo page, and as I have checked, the last one is installed)), or is there a problem in display calibration, or I have got the worst display ever made??? Please help...
PS: I also have T43p and there is no problems such as these on T61p at all!

You could try the Nvidia Forceware Driver:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_163.75.html
To get it to install, you need to add this line to the nv_disp.inf file. I should be pretty apparent where to add it (with all the others like it):
%NVIDIA_G84.DEV_040C.1% = nv_NV3x, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_040C&SUBSYS_20D917AA

15.4" 1920X1200 pixels, the only available 15.4" display in Europe for T61P!

Thank You, much better with this driver, as well! there is no difference in comparison between T61p AND T43p!

That's typical for current notebook displays.

Hi there
I have a similar issue, but with Windows XP.
I have a 6460-6XG with Samsung wuxga panel.
Backlit is absolutely not uniform and I have to move my head left and right to read correctly.
Also mine is very very grainy -- a plain white is not really white for instance.
Any idea ? The link above is for vista -- anyone tried a similar one on xp ?
Thanks
