Hello, I broke my 14" T61p's LCD a month or so ago. I was a few days past the insurance deadline and was afraid of sending it into the repair center and being charged 400+, as a local IBM/Lenobo approved repair center quoted me. I took apart the LCD assembly, and saw that it was a Samsung Panel, LTN141P4-L02. I googled around and found a few inexpensive panels. I was wondering if the panel had to be identicle, if I still had to get a specific T61p screen due to voltage differences or something? Don't some of the T41 use the same screen?

Apart from screen quality, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

My 14'' T61P with Samsung panel too.

This company is around the corner from me and I have stopped there from time to time over the years to pickup stuff.
