T60 Bluetooth can't find Nokia N95 mobile phone. SOLVED!!!!!

Received a mobile phone Nokia N95 from my husband as a gift (happy me!).
Tried for 2 days to get a bluetooth connection between my T60 (XP SP2) and the Nokia N95, to no avail.
Have searched on this forum as well as other forums for a similar problem and a possible solution: no luck.
This is what I've done so far and here are my findings:
1. Under Control Panel, System, Hardware, Devices: just ONE Bluetooth device is present and activated: Thinkpad Bluetooth with enhanced Data Rate
2. Installed LATEST Nokia PC Suite software which installs the required bluetooth drivers as well (hopefully).
3. Installed latest software on Nokia N95 as well.
4. System infor of Nokia PC Suite reports next bluetooth stacks:
- WIDDCOMM Blue-tooth Stack
- Microsoft Blue-tooth stack.
5. On my T60, Nokia Connection Manager shows a window in which Bluetooth WIDCOMM and Bluetooth Microsoft are UNCHECKED.
As soon as I check one of them I get a message: Connectiontype can't be used. Check if all required hardware, software and drivers are available (code: Open Media).
T60 and N95 are 20 cm separated from each other. I've noticed that both units have active radio transmitters/receivers.
My T60 can't find the Nokia N95. The N95 isn't listed anywhere on my T60. The N95 can't find a bluetooth device (which shlould be my T60) as well.
In Windows Services, bluetooth has been set at started and automatic.
In Device Manager, I've tried to install WIDCOMM and Microsoft bluetooth, to no avail.
I've deinstalled, removed software and drivers, restarted the T60, installed all again, tried installing other blue-tooth drivers: no luck at all.
Hopefully someone can help me finding the solution for this stubborn and frustrating problem.
