Standby and presentation mode not working-T61p WXpSP2 clean

Hi,
Windows XP clean install and followed the "approved" procedure.
Everyhting is OK except the FN-F7 and Fn-F4 do nto work. I can nto even go to standby using the normal windows method. I saw a previous thead about intel driver beta causing this but i loaded the latest ~ 2 weeks ago and it did nto say beta on it.

Any ideas?

I have system updated- updated etc.

Hi,
After a complete shutdown and restart- standby appears ot work by FN-F7 does not show a window to allow you to pick the mode like in my old T42p.

It did work however on screen
