T60p + external screen = not continious space ? (Mac can!)
Hello,
Maybe I was a bit naive, when I decided to add an external LCD panel. I just bought a 20" LCD panel thinking that I will be able
to use my notebook LCD and external screen at the same time
as continous space. But no.. I just get double image.
The way I thought about it is because a guy at work uses his
MacBook this way. So is it Mac only feature. What do I need to
have continous space for notebook and external monitor ?
Is it possible at all ??

Looking for posts by RonS, the display expert here, I found the following links. I personally have not tried extending my desktop.

Have you gone into the properties for the display adapter and enabled this feature? I believe by default it is disabled. It is not clear from your post that you have to me.
It would be helpful to know the OS you are running and your video card as well.
