Display and 'box parts' questions

Hi All -

I have a couple of questions about my new ThinkPad T61. Appreciate any info you can give me on it -

1. When I watch some movies and switch to full screen, the video becomes a little dull and kinda flickers. The clips played fine when I changed the Color Quality from 32 bit to 16 bit in my Display Properties. Shouldn't I be able to play any video in 32 bit color? Anyone know why this is / how I can fix it? If you need to know, these were clips downloaded off the internet - wmv's, mpegs etc.

2. When I got my T61, I got 2 plastic pouches - one with the trackpoint rubber thingies and another with 2 screws. What are those screws for?

They are called Security screws, if you turn over your thinkpad you'll see a room to put one under the Ultrabay, that way you cannot plug out the device by simply sliding the release latch without unscrewing (a technical term, not to be taken in slang meaning) it. One is spare screw.
