Hey guys, any advise on what VGA cable to get for connecting my T61p to my TV?

i was just about to post pretty much the same question, and i think i may have already here in the past.

my T60p only has vga for video output.

i'm pretty sure the vga to rca cables you can find online don't really work, you need a transcoder, which is another hardware box you'd have to carry around, if you wanted to be portable.

i'm skeptical of the vga to s video cables that are sold online, if they did work, i'm pretty sure you could get one, and then svideo to rca, but, i doubt they do work, you'd still probably need a transcoder.

i'm wondering about using the pcmcia port, for s video out, or rca out, would that work?

thinkpad tech support is no help

or even usb to s video? anyone know if that would work without a box? just cables?
