T60 Touchpad pointer speed

Hi, I have a T60 runnig XP and normally use it with a bluetooth mouse. The problem is that the pointer speed for the trackpad is greatly different from that of the mouse.
If I adjust it using the Control Panel>Mouse then the one pointer speed setting applies to both the mouse and the pad.
How can I set different pointer speed adjustments for the mouse and the Trackpad?

I don't believe it can be done but you're free to experiment and surprise me. Disable one of them when you change the settings and I suggest you explore the options in Trackpoint menu.

I humbly think UltraNav speed shouldn't concern you if you normally use a bluetooth mouse.

It can be done.
The pointer speed settings in Mouse->Pointer Options is a general Windows settings applying to all devices.
If you have the proper Ultranav driver installed, then there should also be an Ultranav tab in the mouse settings, were you can separately set sensitivities of the trackpoint and the touchpad.

There are no options for changing the touchpad pointer speed under the Ultranav tab. However, changing the trackpoint sensitivity effectively changes the pointer speed but only for the trackpoint, not the touchpad. Changing the touchpad sensitivity does not appear to change the speed only how hard you have to press to move the pointer.
