ThinkVantage Message Center - does anyone use it?

#1 Post by spune » Sun Nov 25, 2007 6:36 pm

Message Center comes preinstalled on our ThinkPads, however, I can't find the download for it on Lenovo's US site. Is there any use for this piece of software?

Message Center is part of ThinkVantage Productivity Center, ThinkVantage System Update should be able to pick it up but if it doesn't then install it manually:

ThinkVantage Productivity Center - ThinkPad

It keeps you up-to-date with recent news for instance if there is a battery recall it will inform you about that.

With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."

I have Productivity Center installed but I've never received a message from Lenovo. Don't you need the Message Center program installed as well (yellow envelope icon on the taskbar)?

Try running ThinkVantage System Update, it should be able to pick it up.

Otherwise download the following package:

Message Center (for Windows Vista/XP/2000). (Right click and Save Target As)
