Hi i have T61p with Vista 64. Decided to install XP on new HDD, currently having problems with drivers. Various devices are not being recognized. Like sound card - downloaded drivers from lenovo, they are giving errors and sound is not working. Same with keybord, thinkvantage button not working.
Anyone had similar experience installing XP and getting right drivers for it?

You can get all the drivers you need
here
For the sound card to work properly you need the
HD Audio driver. (scroll down a bit on the audio driver page).
OR, you can try
System Update, it should get everything you need.

Thanks, i'll try the HD Audio driver at home.
I have System Update installed id did not helped a lot.. There are few devices still not recognised. It seems i would need to do everything manualy.

Most of drivers started working, thanks!
But i have another problem:
"The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) on this system has been configured previously . Please enter the owner passwod for the TPM. If you do not know the owner password, you will have to clear thr TPM using BIOS Setup utility."
What do i do with this, looken in BIOS could not find anything looking like TPM?! Please help.

Start from cold boot, enter BIOS Setup Utility by pressing F1 and entering supervisor password (if there is any set). Then select Config, select Security chip, and then select Clear Security chip, save changes by pressing F10 and exit.
The problem you're experiencing is because the Security Chip can only be associated with one Operating System and before installing the new OS you neglected to clear it up in the older.
