I'm ordering a T61p tomorrow... any advice before I do?

These are the specs for my soon-to-be order:

-2.2GHz
-Vista Home Premium(I already have a full retail box copy of XP Pro)
-15.4" WSXGA
-NVIDIA 128MB
-2GB RAM 2DIMM
-100GB 7200rpm
-CDRW/DVD ROM(I'm going to swap out my Z60m's DVD burner)
-Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG(My router doesn't support N)
-Bluetooth

Questions I have:

-Is it really worth it to call Lenovo up and ask for the WUSXGA monitor? I read that it delays the shipment. I've been pretty happy with my 15.4" WSXGA on my Z60M.
-I don't need the 256MB NVIDIA card, right? I won't be playing a lot of games... maybe once in a while.
-With all the problems with the RAM and 3D graphics, etc, is there a setup that's best to order? I'm only getting 2GB because I think that will satisfy me enough, and if I want more later on, I can get it cheaper off of Ebay or something.
-Will the DVD burner from my Z60m swap out into the T61p without any complications?
-What is the Intel turbo memory option? Is it worth the money?
-I have a 9 cell battery from my Z60m that Lenovo sent me via the battery recall. Will it swap into the T61 without complications?
-I definitely want to extend the warranty. What the heck is the difference between "Warranty service upgrades" and "Protection services?" Do I really need to buy both to get stuff covered? And what's the verdict on depot versus on-site? Is depot very fast?

Any other advice?

Thanks!

IMHO
- display, I'm not comfortable with 15,4" so comment withheld.
- 256 nVidia, can't hurt except maybe temp. and battery life.
- 2GB RAM should be fine, as you say you can upgrade later, or, order with 1 GB and upgrade "cheaper" to 3 GB
- No the DVD burner in the Z60 is ultrabay enhanced, the T6* has slim.
- Intel Turbo, I believe the jury is still out on this one; I haven't seen any threads saying "wow", more to the effect that any improvement isn't really that noticable.
- 9 Cell - No Problem
- warranty is warranty, protection is the infamous "my TP doen't like coffee". i.e accidental damage. On site, I have no experience in the USA, although I have read some stories in this forum.

So then should I just get the Protection upgrade? I feel like any problem could more or less be argued to be done by "me," right? Or should I get both?

I don't believe that Lenovo/IBM will try to blame the customer in order to get out of a warranty repair, (although one or two cases can be found in this forum where this has been alleged). In most cases these are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Protection is a different ball game, more an insurance, see for example this thread , it isn't covered by warranty.
