Access Conn Fails to Change Default Printer with lococation

#1 Post by WilsonF » Tue Nov 27, 2007 11:40 am

I have a T60p with Vista Enterprise installed clean and Access Connections 4.42 set up for several different location profiles each with a different default printer set in Access Connections.

I find that Access Connections fails to change the default printer as it applies profiles when I resume from standby or boot clean and different location profiles are applied.

This has worked in the past (with different Vista / Access Connections versions) and it worked until I applied the most recent upgrade to Access Connections.

Does anyone have any idea how to get the default printer change feature of Access Connections to work?

My default printer changes with each of my Access Connection profile changes, with one exception... printing from the File > Print pull-down menu option in Firefox. Regardless of which AC profile I am using, the Firefox print option always seems to revert to the last printer that I used from the browser, rather than changing to the default printer specified in the active AC profile.
