What is cto and what use is wusb?

My new t61p is a cto model. What does that mean? And, what use is wusb?

Thank you. But, I can't see the utility of wusb. I've googled on it but only get definitions, no real information.
You require a WUSB capable device, not a utility and its up to the manufacturer of such devices to produce one, an example is as following:ejr wrote:snip......But, I can't see the utility of wusb.

As far as I can see the single feature is much higher speed for exchanging data on a local network.erik wrote:i don't think WUSB is a selectable option yet. it comes "free" with the purchase of a 15.4" T61p CTO. i have it on mine and have yet to find a use for it except for a WUSB hub that still has to be tethered to a wall socket to power the peripherals attached to it.
