I tried to contact the support some time after I posted this but they weren't very helpful. This page has a table that clearly says the DVI is supported on T60 with Intel graphics.
Funny thing is, the table at the bottom of the dock page still says "ThinkPad T60, T60p (14 inch and 15 inch standard)
Note: Integrated graphics models support all docking functions except DVI-D."
As a result, we finally have an official confirmation that all T60 with integrated graphics indeed support DVI on the dock.
