Desktop Icons move after screensaver

Hi

I recently downloaded and installed some of the recent upgrades for the T60p / Win XP SP2, through the thinkvantage system update v.3.

Now I am having a minor but annoying problem of the desktop icons moving when the system comes out of screen saver mode. I have the screen size set to 1280 * 1024 and the icons look to have been moved to fit a 1023 * 786 screen size. the screen saver is the XP show photos from a specific directory.

Any ideas what I need to do to stop my desktop icons getting messed up after the screen saver quits?
