Ok a little run down of what I am wanting to do. As it is now I use Symantec Ghost Suite to create images and restore images from the Ghost Console however I want to try something else. And I am curious if there is a way to restore the recovery partition that was once on the machine without having to completely overhaul the system once again. It was deleted during the custom build of these machines. They are T60p's if anyone has an idea on a program I can use to restore that partition Please let me know.
Thanks!!

If they were deleted then you cannot restore them through any tools, the only way to recreate them again is via Product Recovery disks.
The following package would've helped had you left the partition untouched while creating custom builds on your machines:
Rescue and Recovery - Recovery repair diskette.

Yeah I was worried about that. Well I guess I will leave the partitions alone on the next builds

I wanted to but well ya know

anyway thanks for the info. Can I use the original disks from Lenovo and will it recreate the partition?

You can use Product recovery disks to create recovery partition but please keep in mind the first thing these disks are going to do is to wipe out your entire HDD.

Thanks for the input I really appreciate it. I can go ahead and use the recovery cds on the machines I have not yet delivered and go from there. *note to self leave restore partition alone*
Thanks!!

I was able to "ghost" the recovery partition onto my new 200gig hard disk, I found the hidden partition and also ghosted my data/program partitions as well and placed them on the new hard disk. I am now able to access the hidden partition, like I was able to with the original hard disk.
